We operate by one simple rule:
"Treat others the way you want to be treated."
This means you'll be treated as an individual. We'll listen first and talk later. We won't think in boxes, but rather in the abstract. We'll be readily accessible. We'll set clear, reasonable expectations, and won't end the project until we meet them.
I'm an aesthetic perfectionist, a free-spirit, a research fanatic, a people pleaser and a nature-lover. Odd combo. Though, I've found it makes me a good fit in this industry. I can create anything from simple and traditional up to well, something like this website.

The earth. Visual Melody is owned by a nature freak. Melissa always looks for ways to save natural resources, such as opting for recycled paper in the office, designing websites heavy on energy-saving black backgrounds or simply educating people on easy ways to live green.
Keep the client stress-free. You tell us what you want, we'll figure out how to make it work. We respect your time, providing reasonable deadlines and status updates. We're always accessible, even after the project is complete.

A native Charlottean, Melissa Wilson graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2005, with a dual
BA in Corporate Communication and Spanish. Melissa
works for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)as a Corporate Liaison. She previously was an Operational Risk consultant and SharePoint developer
at Bank of America and Wachovia. She is currently pursuing an MS in Complimentary Alternative Medicine at American College of Healthcare Sciences.
Melissa and David met July 2005 on a beach retreat
wth their church. David proposed to Melissa in October 2005, wearing his kilt at the Highland Games. In April 2006, they were married in a Scottish-Irish wedding.
They adopted Shaggy, a rescued Bearded Colllie in 2007, and Cody, a rescued Catahoula in 2009. David and Melissa are both vegan, addicted to their iPads,
and enjoy video games, movies and being outdoors.

In 2007, Melissa incorporated Vsual Melody, LLC as a corporate and personal communication company focusing on print marketing.
The "print" focus quickly expanded to electronic marketing services, after receiving many inquiries for web design This has allowed David Wilson, a systems analyst, to partner on some projects. Visual Melody now offers web services ranging from simple to complex build-outs, as well as site administration. Wix.com has selected Melissa as one of their official web designers.

Since age five, Melissa has lived on computers. She has over ten years of publishing experience., beginning in high school and continuing through college and her corporate career. She's been published in The Charlotte Observer, The Charlotte World and Topics Magazine.
After graduating from Queens University in 2005, Melissa worked in Business Continuity for two years at Bank of America, ending as an Assistant Vice President.
Melissa left Bank of America in 2007 to persue her dreams of owning her own marketing company. Melissa started Visual Melody LLC, a corporate and personal communication company specializing in layout, design, electronic and print marketing.
In 2008, Wachovia hired Melissa as a Business Continuity consultant, in addition to a Microsoft SharePoint site developer for Operational Rsk.
In 2009, Wix.com selected Melissa as one of their official web designers, and she also accepted a Corporate Liaison position with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), negotiating better animal welfare standards with companies around the world.
